The separation and processing are two stages strictly studied by the RMV. Metal waste are being weighed and tested for their type, their quality and their admixtures with foreign substances.
More specifically, the metallic scrap are separated into: ferrous or magnetic, those containing iron and non-ferrous such as: copper, brass, aluminum, stainless steel, tin, lead. These materials are separated into subcategories according to their quality, which is determined by their purity.
